Run it on your device, with or without signal. Upload all of your site information and photos, and receive a free PDF document straight into your inbox.

Pay at checkout

Receive a done-for-you design.

Includes best estimates for approvals and a Tradezone bill of materials. On your first time, we help you set up your proposal template, your pricing and more.

Check and send

Review it, then send it straight to your customer.

Ask for a revision if you need one, or make the changes yourself. One revision is included, and you choose whether SASS runs the admin too.

Behind the scenes: Tradezone supplies the hardware and your order goes straight to them. We build your proposal in an OpenSolar account we set up for you, with your email added to the team for full access, priced from the Tradezone catalogue. If you choose, we run the admin through to handover.

Commercial jobs involve councils, networks, engineers and rebate schemes

Every commercial project requires administration and compliance before installation can occur. We outsource to the right people, obtain the approvals and manage the applications.

    Arranged where your network requires it

  • Engineering certificate coordination

    We arrange the right engineer, including site-specific certification where the site calls for it

  • Network (DNSP) application

    Initial network enquiries are lodged alongside the council checks, so neither waits on the other. Applications are then lodged once we have the correct council approvals

  • CSIP-AUS v1.2 compliance check

    Checked as part of the network application

    CDC or DA, where the site and system need it

  • Engineering sign-off coordination

    Obtained once the approval conditions are known

Proposal fee

One flat fee per proposal, set by system size. Built by SASS in an OpenSolar account we set up for you, with Tradezone pricing, one revision and your markup kept separate from wholesale cost.

  • 500kW – 1MW$700

Indicative fee by system size. Covers council checks & approvals, network application, engineering certificate coordination, and metering coordination.

  • 500kW – 1MW$3,000

Not included:further revisions after the first, and network, engineering, council or certifier costs. We can't guarantee exact network fees, but we can advise what to allow for in your quote.
